At Mendoza Makeup, professionalism is not optional.
These policies exist to protect our clients, our work, and the integrity of the service provided.
By booking with Mendoza Makeup, you agree to the following standards.
All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date and time.
Deposits are applied toward the total service cost.
Dates are not considered reserved until the deposit is received and confirmed.
Remaining balances are due on or before the service date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations made within the designated cancellation window will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows are subject to full service charges.
Rescheduling requests are accommodated when possible, but availability is not guaranteed.
Bridal and large group bookings are subject to stricter cancellation terms outlined in individual agreements.
Clients arriving late may receive reduced service time to preserve the schedule.
If a delay exceeds a reasonable window, the appointment may be canceled without refund.
Mendoza Makeup is not responsible for missed photos, ceremonies, or events due to client delays.
Mendoza Makeup is a mobile service unless otherwise specified.
Travel fees may apply based on location, start time, and group size.
Clients are responsible for providing a clean, well-lit, and safe workspace at the service location.
Services include professional makeup application only, unless explicitly stated.
Hair styling, body makeup, touch-ups, or additional looks must be requested in advance.
Additional services requested on-site may be declined if they disrupt the schedule.
Makeup trials are strongly recommended for bridal clients.
Trials are exploratory and collaborative but do not guarantee unlimited revisions.
Major changes requested on the event day that differ significantly from the trial may not be accommodated.
Clients must disclose skin conditions, allergies, sensitivities, or recent cosmetic procedures prior to service.
Mendoza Makeup reserves the right to refuse service if a condition poses a health or safety concern.
No service will be performed on open wounds, active infections, or severe skin irritation.

Hygiene & Safety Standards
With consent, finished makeup may be photographed for portfolio and promotional use.
Client names are never disclosed without permission.
Mendoza Makeup respects privacy requests for weddings and private events.
Mendoza Makeup maintains a respectful, inclusive environment for all clients.
Disrespectful, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate termination of services without refund.
This is a professional service — not a negotiation.
Mendoza Makeup reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time if:
Policies are violated
Safety standards are compromised
Behavior becomes hostile or inappropriate
Conditions differ significantly from what was booked
Mendoza Makeup operates within a broader creative practice.
